Work at The Fat Duck
If you’re in the catering industry and looking to rise to the very top of your profession – or are already there! – then a job at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck restaurant in Bray near Windsor could be a fantastic career move for you.
The “Careers” page on the Fat Duck website has details of the positions available. At the time we visited the site there were four jobs available, two of them for Chefs de Partie. But if you’re aiming for that kind of job you’ll need to have experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
If you’re not quite at that stage in your career yet, The Fat Duck can still help you on your way – they have placements available. You’ll have to find your own accommodation and support yourself, though; and if you’re not British or an EEA national you’ll need to show that you have your visa and/or work permit in order too.
