Free training from Newcastle-under-Lyme College
You may qualify for free training courses under the following circumstances:
- If you want to improve your reading, writing or maths (adult literacy or numeracy)
- If you are on Incapacity Benefit and looking to build your self-esteem or get a job;
- If you don’t already have 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent qualifications. Examples of qualifications that are equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grades A-C are:
- 5 O Levels;
- NVQ Level 2;
- GNVQ Intermediate;
- BTEC First Diploma.
- If you work for a Staffordshire-based company with fewer than 250 employees, in one of the following industry sectors:
- Business and Public Sector Services;
- ICT;
- Retail;
- Construction;
- Leisure;
- Tourism and Hospitality;
- Engineering and Manufacture;
- Health and Care Development.
