The Bridport Prize
Writers of short stories and poems can enter the competition to win the Bridport Prize. The first prize is £5,000 for the winning short story and £5,000 for the winning poem. There are runners-up prizes too.
This year’s deadline is 30 June but you can always get started on your entry for next year.
There’s an entry fee of £6. The competition is open to everyone over 18 years of age.
