Deputy web editor – Decanter magazine
From Decanter magazine’s website:
Decanter, the world’s most respected and authoritative wine magazine and website, needs a deputy web editor to help steer it through the next exciting phase of development.
This is a hugely demanding and responsible job. We are looking for a journalist with superb web content production skills. As well as being an excellent writer with a nose for a good story, you will be absolutely web literate, able to code basic HTML, to execute best practice search engine optimisation and to successfully use social media to promote Decanter. You will be able to shoot, edit and publish video and know your way around web publishing packages such as Dreamweaver.
Good spoken French and/or other European languages would be an advantage. Knowledge of wine isn’t essential, but willingness to immerse yourself in the intricacies of the wine world is.
For more information and details of how to apply, visit the Decanter magazine website. (Closing date 31 July 2009)
